What is Osteopathy ?

Osteopathy is a non-invasive manual medicine, complementary to conventional medical treatments.

Osteopathy is based on the principle that wellbeing depends on all parts of the body functioning together in a smooth manner. Bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue are interrelated; if one part of the body is restricted then the rest of the body will tend to compensate, creating an imbalance that could lead to pain and other health issues.

The goal of osteopathy is to free the restrictions and restore mobility and vitality in all the systems: musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, craniosacral, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic systems. The integrative treatment encourages the body’s innate ability to heal and optimize overall health.
